Study of Impact on Automotive Industry and Energy Sector

Abstract
The purpose of this article is to present a concise overview of the expansion of electric vehicles (EVs) in India, focusing on the most significant developments, ongoing problems, and potential future advancements. In recent years, India has experienced a spectacular boom in the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs), which is in line with the country's lofty aims for sustainable transportation and lowering emissions. Several factors, including consumer attitudes, technical breakthroughs, market trends, legislative frameworks, and government activities, are discussed in the abstract. Additionally, the abstract touches on the development of infrastructure. An all-encompassing comprehension of the electric vehicle (EV) scene in India is provided by a synthesis of insights derived from academic research, reports from the industry, and publications from the government. An outline of recommendations for stakeholders to further accelerate the transition to electric mobility in the country is presented at the end of the abstract. These recommendations emphasise the significance of collaborative efforts and innovative solutions to overcome existing barriers and unlock the full potential of electric vehicles for India's transportation future.
