Peer Review Policy
The Shodh Sagar Journal of Electric Vehicles (SSJEV) is very serious about upholding the highest ethical and scholarly standards. In order to achieve this goal, we employ a double-blind peer review procedure, which guarantees the confidentiality of all parties involved. To ensure that the research we publish is honest, high-quality, and open to scrutiny, we have a rigorous peer review policy.
1. Double-Blind Review: Our review method is designed to be double-blind, meaning that neither the authors nor the reviewers know each other's identities. Evaluating submissions based on their academic value and content quality should be fair and unbiased, which is why this is being done.
2. Reviewer Selection: Reviewers are selected according to their knowledge of the manuscript's field. In order to help writers improve their work, we try to choose reviewers who can give honest and helpful criticism.
3. Review Process: After an article is submitted, the editorial team gives it a quick once-over to make sure it fits the journal's scope, styles, and quality requirements. Afterwards, at least two separate reviewers are tasked with evaluating the manuscripts that fulfil these requirements.
4. Criteria for Evaluation: Reviewers evaluate papers according to the following criteria: originality, methodological rigour, clarity of presentation, field relevance, and contribution to knowledge and practice in the areas of blockchain technology, metaverse technology, and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).
5. Feedback to Authors: reviewers provide authors with anonymous input. Recommendations for enhancement, further investigation, or changes required for approval are all part of this input. Every interaction between writers and editors is mediated by the editorial staff.
6. Decision Making: The editing staff considers the reviewers' remarks, taking into account their relevance, creativity, and clarity, before making the final judgement on the submissions. Options include accepting with minor changes, making large alterations, or rejecting.
7. Confidentiality: We take the utmost care to ensure the confidentiality of all submissions that are being reviewed. Reviewers must keep any information gathered throughout the review process strictly confidential and must not use it for personal gain or the benefit of another party.
8. No Review Fees: The peer review procedure does not cost anything. Reviewers and authors are not charged by the SSJEV for their services in evaluating manuscripts.
9. Ethical Standards: Reviewers and writers are expected to maintain the utmost integrity, which includes being transparent about any possible conflicts of interest.
10. Appeals and Complaints: Authors have the option to seek a reversal of editorial decisions or lodge grievances over the review procedure. The editorial board ensures transparency and fairness by handling such cases.
